Trekking Weaver’s road Peru with llamas
In this experiential adventure we will see beautiful villages with their traditional customs that endure during the time of the incas until these days, also in the villages stand out the textile, their typical costumes as well as the domestication of llamas.
We are going to pick you up from your hotel in Cusco City toward the Valle Sagrado of the Incas, then walking for 2 hours by the main path we reach the community of Quechua weavers of Patacancha village, where the llameros and llamas are specting for us In this place we will learn more about them, after that we start the walk along the ravine which is used everyday by the Andean Community members. From Patacancha, we will start to walk an average of 1 hour and a half until you reach Huilloc, Andean Community known for its expert weavers, their typical and traditional dress, also known as “Huayruros”. We will have the opportunity to learn a little more about their lifestyle. Then we continue our Trek heading to Pumamarca, small inca´s archaeological group, formed by terraces, where we will rest and enjoy lunch. As final we will go to Ollantaytambo, walking an average of 1 hour and a half, passing through the small town of Munaypata, from where we will continue to the town of Ollantaytambo, ending our tour we are going to leave you at your hotel.
